Studio flat in Jerusalem should be between $400-$700
Tel-aviv is a bit more expensive at the moment due to rental property shortage...

Good Luck and Happy New Year!

Studio apartments in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem should be around 500$ to 650$ a month.
If you want to share a 2 bedroom apartment should cost around 750$ to 900$.
In the suburbs you can find inexpensive offers like 600$ for 2 bedroom apartments.
You should note that Haifa (Israel 3rd largest city) the prices are much lower then in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
Unless you know Hebrew the prices might be high because most of the offers are submitted in Hebrew...

Its impossible to answer as like in any other city in the world,
you have better areas and lesser ones too. Jerusalem is very expensive as there is a shortage of apartments and a huge university. In Tel Aviv on the other hand you might find an apartment for $800 but the same one would cost 50% more if it would be in the northern part of Tel Aviv. The best would be to contact a rental agency and let them find for you what you need.

it depends where. Jerusalem-(for a studio, which is more expensive) Min. 300$, Tel Aviv south: Min 400$, Tel Aviv center:Min 600$, Tel Aviv north: try 1000-2000$.
my sister rents a 3 room apt. in a very good neighborhood in Jerusalem, for only 450$. my brother in Tel Aviv (center)- a 2 bedroom apt. with a small garden for 650$- in a good street. I lived in center-north Tel Aviv and payed 800$ for a 3 room apt.

probably at least $700-$800 a month. and that's lowballing it. i have a 30yo cousin who is working in high tech right now (read: he earns pretty good money) and he's having trouble finding a decent apartment.

Access an online newspaper from those cities and look in the classifieds.
