I have been seeing this guy (we're both early 20s) for a few months. He has been suddenly ignoring my texts, ims, and calls all weekend and now he's out for New Year's Eve without me. I have no idea what happened, we were talking Friday night and all was well. I hate being ignored and in my opinion, no matter what the problem is there's no excuse for keeping me in the dark for 3 days especially when I gave up plans to be with him. I honestly believe I didn't do anything wrong. I feel like the only way to find out what the hell is going on is to show up on his doorstep and confront him, but he lives with his parents. I think that by tomorrow I will have given him plenty of time to deal with it and come to me himself. What do you think I should do? What would you think if someone showed up on your doorstep like that? Thanks, I'm goin caraaazy lol.

I wish I could go out with all my girls, unfortunately they all paid 100 bucks for tickets to a party in the city and I didn't get one because he wasn't into going! Grrrrr lol so here I am instead trying to keep my mind off it and just hoping he calls tomorrow and it can all be over for the new year...

You've already given him plenty of time. Grab your girls and hit the town to enjoy New Years!

In my opinion, guys like a challenge.
If you seem too available and clingy you may turn him off.
I know it's hard, but you need to try and do your own thing.
Don't call, text, or IM him and wait and see if he contacts you.
When he does, act nonchalant, like you didn't even notice he was not calling.

If you do this, and he is interested in you, he will begin calling you all the time. If he is not interested and does not respond, it is time to move on Sister!!!

The best advice I got from an older woman was "Guys don't go fishing because fish jump in the boat. They like the challenge of the catch."

I would just let it be for now...tell him how you feel when you see him next and how important it is to return calls quickly etc. Ask if anything is wrong and talk it out. Don't call him..let him call you.
