If you are wanting to get your hair cut, that's all good, but I don't know about a pixie cut. Do you have a round face? I have a round face and I know that I would't look right with a pixie cut. I have had my hair cut very short before and I received a lot of compliments on it, but I guess it had to grow on me. I really didn't like it initially.
I also have big eyes and high cheek bones.
Have you looked at some other styles? Kelis' new hair cut is cute and plus Mary J. Blige's hair when it was short was cute too.
Look into some other styles, but I don't think you should do the pixie cut. What if you don't like it? You really can't recover unless you wear a wig.
Just think about it and If you decide to get it cut that way, then cool. Don't be in a rush to do so because like I said, you can't really do too much if you decide you don't like it.

There is so much that they can do with computer images these days! If you go into a high end salon, they can help you by taking your picture, scanning into the computer then they try different hairstyles and cuts on your image. It's really cool and it alleviates the guess work of how you're to look after the cut. A pixie is sure easy to take care of!! Good Luck!

Why not try on a wig, which; while not being completely natural looking, would give you an idea of what you would look like in general. Or you can look up one of those try on hairstyles with your own picture site on-line.
Having short hair does not necessarily make you look like a lesbian. Playing up your eyes with eye makeup and not having sideburns and slicked back hair or a short buzz cut on top will all help you avoid looking like something you are not.

If you have a nice shaped head and a good hairline you most likely can get away with it and this cut will really accentuate your big eyes. Are you going to go as short as Mia Farrow did in, "Rosemary's Baby?"
If you don't like it on you it will always grow back. I admire your wanting to set your own fashion style. This is how "fads" are started but most girls or guys don't have the courage to try on their own.
If you wear a hint of makeup and small ear-ring studs you should look feminine enough.

Only women with very elfish, feminine facial features car pull off a pixie cut, and if you don't like how it looks, your hair will take a long time to grow out. Try it if you wish, but prepare yourself to be disappointed.

a good pixie cut that is not blunt cut or bowl cut should look nice on you. just make sure its more shaggy or razor cut than boy cut.
