Well it all depends on the cat. usually a cat lives for maybe about 17 years old. if your cat is older than 17yrs. old than you have been taking care of your cat the way you should. one of these ladys has a cat she has hers up to 18 yrs of age. thats pretty old. if you have any questions about cats you can either email at cena3014@yahoo.com or IM me at cena2913 thanks and have a happy new year.

Usually indoor cats live longer. Around 24 years. Outside cats around 10 years. Depends on the cat and how it's cared for I think.

Indoor cats can easily reach 15-20+ years. Food and general health is, of course, a strong influence. The average lifespan of an outdoor cat is around 3 years (http://www.hsus.org/press_and_publications/humane_society_magazines_and_newsletters/all_animals/volume_4_issue_1_spring_2002/a_safe_cat_is_a_happy_cat_and_your_cat_is_only_safe_indoors.html ). It's probably somewhere in between for an indoor/outdoor cat.

If she's an out door cat, she'll live to be around 14-15 years. If she's an indoor cat, she can live to about 18-20 years.

my aunt had a cat that was at least 27... but he was an indoor only cat. that makes a HUGE difference in lifespan.

34 is the oldest cat on record.
2-3 is the average life span (in years) of "unmanaged" feral cats.
