I was just going to ask the same question. :) It's easier to answer for someone else than it is for yourself. I've lost (and gained) weight many times. The fastest/easiest for me was low carb. But it SUCKS and if you ever start eating carbs again you'll gain it all back. I did, and then some. The best way to keep it off for good is to lose it semi-slowly with diet and exercise. Lots of fruits and veggies, lean meats, blah blah. All that stuff you learned in health class. There's lots of weight loss websites that you can join that are helpful if you need support. They help sometimes.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Have you done this;

Eat a small meal every 3 hours.
Never eat processed foods or processed meats. If it comes in a box or bag, it is processed!
Drink water when thirsty.
Take a bucket of water, pick it up with both hands. HOLD the bucket in the air for 60 seconds. Keep your elbows bent, your knees bent, and bend over while holding the bucket. It should feel HEAVY after 30 seconds. This will tighten up your stomach.
This will also tighten up your body so you will be skinny, and strong.

Do this exercise every other day. Mon-Wed-Fri.

Fast and easy. But it will take time. Have patience. The change comes so un-noticeable, others will see the difference, you will look in the mirror and see no change. But It WILL COME.

Trust me.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

The only and best way is to exercise! Maybe its hard for you then I suggest this : do ab exercising, swimming, jogging, jumping jacks 3 times a week. Do about 45 mins to an hour each of those days. Alternate your diet eat more raw and healthy foods such as salads, fruit, fish, nuts and of course vegetables. You should see results in 3 weeks guaranteed.
Best of luck!!

There is a maricle drug I swear by called "adipex P"... I love it... I call it my mommy pill... Anyways... I lost 76 lbs on it.... *( but now i just got pregnant and had to go off it.. )*.. I am planning on going back on it after I have this baby... I could NEVER loose weight... I spent so much money on natural crap, and other pills, and diets...
I went into my doc and was like look im miserable, help! and she did... In just 6 months i lost 63 pounds, and my doc said that she had never had a patient like me loose so much... I drank loads of fountain moutain dew too that i live off from... *( had to cut that down a ton cuz of the pregnancy tho )*.... If you go to a doc that specializes in internal medicine they wont prescribe it, *( i knew 2 people who went to one and niether could get it from either of their docs )*... i just went to a regular D.O.. She did blood work first and all... If u are depressed or have a huge problem with anxiety lie about it too... sometimes they get funny about that sort of thing... haha... but yeah... adipex p... i was on the 37.5 mg.
good luck!

cardio+weight training+healthy eating=weight loss. you need to burn more calories than you eat to lose weight. you need to exercise 30-60 minutes a day to burn fat and reap all of the benefits of exercise. it needs to be consistent. secondly, you need to reconfigure your eating style. start eating 3 moderate meals a day and 3 small snacks a day adding up to about 1500 calories to lose weight. to maintain weight, you need about 2000 calories a day. eat plenty of brightly colored fruits, vegies, berries, low fat and natural proteins such as chicken, fish, ham, nuts, peanut butter, beans, and low fat dairy and soy products and high fiber, whole grain, whole wheat pastas, cereals, crackers, etc. make sure to drink plenty of water and green teas, and try to drink no more than one or two cans of diet soda a day. invest in a pedometer to monitor how many steps you take a day and increase it weekly until you are walking between 10,000 and 20,000 steps a day. this will take work to change your lifestyle, but it's the only way to get healthy. good luck.
