But how long do you think we have until that great and blessed day.

1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Daniel talks about a King of the North in the last days.
He will be the Antichrist.

Daniel says that the kingdom of the North is Syria.
During the time following Daniel, Alexander the great came to power and then he died.
His kingdom was divided into four parts, they were called the north, south, east and west.
The kingdom of the North was the Selucid Empire.
That empire included Syria, Iraq and Iran.

Revelation says that one of the kingdoms prior to the Roman empire would return and rule over the entire world.

From it will come the Antichrist.
Many scholars, and pastors, including myself believe that the Selucid Empire is the kingdom that will return in the last days.

In order to do that Iraq would have to join forces with Syria and Iran.
Several weeks ago an emissary of Iraq went and talked with both Syria and Iran asking for help in putting down the violence in Iraq.

That is how close it looks to me. We may be on the verge any moment.

One thing I should say is, there are no prophecies that have to be fullfilled before Jesus returns for His church.

Certainly not the angels and not Yeshua while He was in His incarnate state. Some of this has to do with the bride (the church) because much of what we read about the end times, at least in the gospels is based on Jewish wedding tradition. A part of that tradition is the erecting of the wedding canopy. It was approximately at the timed when I had first gotten involved with the Messianic community, and I had gone to a tabernacle which was going up from California to Alaska, and I went to worship at the tabernacle and had my prayer shawl on and danced before the L-rd in worship. The person whose ministry was the tabernacle later asked me when in the Jewish wedding ceremony would the canopy be put up, because G-d had told her that it was erected. It was also near that time, that G-d told me that "the end of all things is at hand." In recent weeks there has been a sense of the nearness of His return. A sense in the spirit which says 1)we have turned a corner; 2) we are coming down the home stretch; and 3) The church needs to be in an attitude as if they were lying prostrate before the soon coming King. I also know from communication with other believers that Judgment is about to fall. Always realize this though, that despite all the prophecies and "words from the L-rd", we must be faithful and occupy (take control) until He comes.

I would call it the "second coming" rather than the rapture. There are a number who do not understand what you are talking about here. I believe that time will come quicker than the blink of an eye but ONLY GOD knows when! I do not even guess because we are told that even the SON would not know. I do not believe that it is important to know when. It is only important to be ready when HE comes. Have a great week. Read, study, and obey HIS WORD!

The rapture (I know, that word is not in the Bible, but the concept is) is a taking away of believers, dead and alive. No one knows when that will happen, nor does anyone know when Christ will come back again (after the tribulation). Some folks believe in the rapture BEFORE the tribulation, some DURING and some AFTER. Either way, it WILL happen. I hope you're ready.

The way the world is going it seems it should be soon, but JESUS does not wish any to perish, so HE waits.. But there will come a time when it will happen...

Even so LORD come quickly

If you want to know the truth of God's Word, write me and I will document the fallacy of the rapture with God's Word. Or continue to listen to false doctrines of men.

For example: the trump of God, the seventh trump.

Well
I think it was Malachi that said there would be wars in Jerusalem....a war that is being started as we speak. There's also supposed to be natural disasters (Katrina, Tsunami, etc.) and a turning of the hearts of the father to their children and the children to their fathers (geneology). I think we'd be safe in saying the time is close, that many who are alive today will be t here to see it...and it will be blesesed, won't it?
Hope to see you there...

The bible can be interpreted many different ways. Is it possible that "the rapture" can refer to an individuals death and not the whole worlds?
