Some would say I have naturally curly hair, in the back it's naturally wavy, and around my face it's curly. I've had a perm before (just a loose curl perm). So my question is, I'm thinking of perming again, but for the past year I've kept my hair colored as well. Is having both a really bad idea? Obviously it's not exactly healthy for your hair, but is it really that bad of an idea to have both done within a month? I'll more than likely go to the salon rather than doing it at home.

if you have a good hair stylist you should be ok. you can get a partial perm--it is less expensive. sometimes if one section of your hair is curlier than another you can perm just the part that isn't as curly. i perm the top of my head so that it is as curly as the rest of my natural curl

I think that you have to wait at least 2 weeks after you had the perm to dye your hair, but I guess that having both is not big deal, you also have to be conscious that you hair will be very damaged

You can do both, but I wouldnt recomend it and if you are going to do it, do it at a salon. Double processing your hair is never a good idea.
