I was walking in the mall with my parents this evening and a group of guys probably 18-22 kept staring at me and talking about my body, my mom made me walk in front of her because she said they were "drooling all over me." I told her not to make a scene because it's rather humiliating when guys stare when I'm with my father. You think they would show a bit more self-control knowing that I'm with both parents but no, they could care less. Not even 5 minutes later, I was walking on the 2nd floor of the mall and I hear this hispanic guy from the lower level say " that one, right there in the black ( which was me in the black pants ) and I look down and I gave him a dirty look, that didn't seem to bother him at all so to really get the message across, I decided to give him the finger. 'Mind you, this is not a routine gester coming from me. It was sort of a spurt of the moment response. haha, He was so surprised, I heard him say " SHE JUST GAVE ME THE FINGER" about ten times. I just laughed and walked off as I tried to hide what just had happened from my parents. I guess I just got fed up with guys, I had to leave the mall; It takes a lot for me to get up the courage to walk through a mall because all guys do when I go out is undress me with their eyes. I am so serious, I'm not just saying this for attention. They have this infatuation with my butt. How do I get them to back off without giving them the finger? When I go to school, guys try to touch it and are talking about it constantly. I have KNOWN for my butt, as sad as it sounds. How can I get guys to see past my physical feature(s)? I am 17 years old, DO NOT TRY TO TELL ME IT'S BECAUSE OF MY POOR CHOICE OF CLOTHING EITHER. I can wear sweat pants and they will still give me the same attention.

Girl, I have gone through the same thing most of my life as well and I don't think you have any reason to be ASHAMED if you're part of the world club of girls who naturally are well-endowed with a butt! I think you shouldn't be angry at all, I think you should be happy and use it to your advantage, be proud of your body because you can't help it if you are curvaceous. It doesn't mean that you are cheap, it doesn't mean you are a slut, it doesn't mean that you have to go out with every guy who likes you, it just simply means that you are blessed by God!

I wish I had a nice butt like that. But seriously, never ever put up with people putting their hands on you. The comments are inexcusable but when they touch you it's just criminal. You are a minor for Christ sake! Report it to teachers, principal, security guards, police. Don't let it go and don't be a victim. You are so young; this is probably undermining your self esteem and sense of identity. Where ever you live and go to school, I hope the authorities are responsive enough to do something about this sort of thing. This is sexual harassment. You have so much more to offer the world that just your "nice butt". I have heard of really beautiful women having to sometimes downplay their beauty in order to be taken seriously. It is sad that this is the world we live in. Any direct exchange with your abusers will only encourage them. Don't respond; just report them. Don't let them make you feel like a "less than" person. Remember, they are wrong, not you. You don't have to take abuse and you have the right to be treated with respect.

Too bad you're so attractive. The attention might be unwanted because it's coming from immature guys, but you'd probably mind it if you didn't get any kind of attention at all, which might be the case in ten years or more. Just consider that the older you get the more mature responses you'll get from guys who think you look nice. The younger ones aren't used to girls so good looking being within their sights, so react poorly when confronted with this.

You should be proud that you have an attractive body. Not everyone can make heads turn.I think the problem IS NOT YOU but these disrespectful punks that have nothing better to do than make a scene. There are so many of these young punks that do this and have no respect for themselves or the people they make their comments to.Unfortunately there isn't much you can do other than dress in old farmers cloths or hugh baggy pants.Sorry to say but as long as there are these rude punks around you will have to make the best of it.

You could try many things. For instance, wear a wedding ring, guys dont like a girl who's married. Or wear something very baggy, like a large pair of cargo pants. Try to keep the "Pancake Butt" look around.

If you sincerely want to see if your are provoking this rude behavior, wear a chedor or mumu to the mall and see the reaction. If nothing happens, then it does indeed sound like a typical infantile hormonal problem of males. You can't control them, but you can remember the lesson when you look for Mr. Everything.

ima keep it onehunned... if u draggin a wagon ma, dudes are going to look, including myself, but staring is rude. I think it's rude especially if you are with your family. The only thing I can say is that it's going to be a gift and a curse to live with, because it's going to give you an advantage in getting guys, but the curse is that will be one of, if not the main reasons guys approach you. Just remember to conduct yourself like a lady, respect your body, and make your relationship choices wisely. Also alot of guys interpret smiling, eye contact as invitation to approach girls. I'm not saying hold your head down, but sometimes the "Marine" look will help you avoid sending mixed signals to jerks. Learn to look "through" guys in order to dissuade them from thinking you want their attention.

I know you say you can wear sweatpants and still get the same reactions. What i'm wondering is how tight they are. If they are so tight that guys can tell if you're wearing panties or a thong that's where there interests are coming into play. Maybe try something a little looser if this really bothers you.

Serious question here...is your butt big?

If that's what attracting the attention of guys, perhaps you should consider trimming it down a bit (go on all fours and do leg lifts), Maybe wear something a bit baggy that can hide your butt a bit.
