this has always been a tricky one so I'll be technical. it is called polyamorous and is a descriptive term which contrasts with monogamy, for the practice or lifestyle of a person being open to more than one loving, intimate relationship at a time, hence the use of the words "friends with benefits" and not boy/girlfriend which implies that you are an "item" or a couple that are exclusive. don't do it if you are not emotionally stable, please.

Friends with benefits is the same thing as friends who have sex with each other.....no strings attached. They do not get jealous if the other still has a boy/girl friend.Usually they are not compatible in any other way but sexually.

Two people who know eachother, not even maybe good friends, who are sleeping together and that's it...no holding hands in public or at all for that matter...just sleeping together...that's the benefit of knowing eachother, that's it.

Friends who aren't officially "dating", but still have some "couple" tendencies like physical affection. More generally friends who are sleeping together.

LLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL!!!!!! Kate grrl friends with benefits simply means you have a friend who is there for anything. As in a male friend, see basically he is someone who you don't date but you still have sex with him. That is as plan as I can get it sweetie.
Luv Ur Grrl,

Someone you'll play "hide the salami" with but have no emotional attachment to.

Are you 18, Kate?

If so, would you like to be my friend?

"Friends with benefits" are people that you can have "relations "with and walk away without feeling guilty or attatched to each other. and you except what they do with others, as they you.

Someone who is your friend that you have sex with. That's it. You're not in a relationship.
