Asking someone out?

I am 13 years old and a bit shy. I need help on how to ask someone out. How can you tell if someone likes you? Please help!!

When i was thirteen years old I was too shy to tell the guy who i liked at that point of time that i loved him. Once i have became older i just tell point blank my to the what do i think of him. I guess if the person you like is your friend then your work will be easier. It will be much more simpler if you try to know what that person takes you as i.e just a friend or best friend. Then probably after weighing these pros's and cons you could ask that person out.

Just go for it. If you don't, you'll spend hours wishing you had. Make sure they like you at least as a friend, though, especially so young. But just go for it. Usually works, and girls like guys with those kinds of guts.

if you like someone try to see if they like you back by seeing if they have a boy friend and get your friends to see if they like anyone else, if the awnser is no go ask her out and you might be suprized if they say yes or get your friends to ask her out for you. if the awnser is not there are many other fishes in the see, get your eye on another girl.

How to Tell if a Girl Likes You
Probably the best way to know if a girl likes you is to simply ask her, but we all know that can be a challenge. So, here are a few clues to working out if she likes you as much as you like her.
Steps
Examine her body language. If she likes you, you will see that her body position will lean forward toward you.
Keep close. Ever get the feeling that somebody is "in" your personal space - so much so that you want to step back? If she likes you and you like her, neither of you will step back.
Make eye contact - if she likes you, she'll get it and hold it. Again, this can be uncomfortable if you don't like her or vice versa. You'll know if you feel like you have held eye contact just a fraction of a second longer than you would with anyone else, or if she looks away quickly.
Be aware of touching - she might put her hand on your arm when she laughs, or not move her leg if it happens to touch yours. This is a very good sign that she likes you.
Keep an eye out. Her pupils will dilate (get bigger) if she likes you - but this is quite hard to pick up on and you might look a bit weird looking that closely into her eyes.
See if she keeps going out of her way to 'bump' into you.
Watch for her showing interest in things you like and do.
Joke freely. Does she laugh even if you aren't funny?
Check for signs of nervousness: nervous laughter, sweaty palms, fidgeting...
Smile. A big smile in return probably means the feeling is mutual.
See if she always end up in the same line or group as you.
Ask! You can do this over AIM or email if you really are nervous. Try to do it casually; she may ask if you like her first...say Yes! Tell her you don't like mind games, and she'll likely follow your lead and be straighforward.
She'll start pushing you around playfully (if you ever have a tickle fight with some of your friends, she'll usually go for you)


Tips
Does she make an extra effort to be around you in certain situations (dances, school, etc)? That could be a sign.
Her friends might often ask you how you feel about her.
Chances are, if your stomach does a flip flop when you see her, hers may be doing the same.
Smile, be yourself, and let biology and fate work their charms.
Try to look at the situation objectively. Ask friends you trust for their opinion.
The girl might like you but not know he likes you. If this is the case, try to put her into situations where she will realize that she enjoys spending time with you.
If you think she does like you, get her email/IM name and begin to talk to her online. This will help even the shyest girl get up the nerve to ask you out.
It is fine to flirt with girls but don't make it too obvious that you're flirting...she might think you're kind of weird.
If there is a rumor going around that you like this girl that you don't like...don't let it bother you too much. They'll see that it is bothering you and think that you actually do like them even though you might not!
You can always ask a friend to ask her - but that can backfire.
You can't really make someone like you - but the best way to be noticed is to be true to yourself, feel good about yourself and never do anything you don't want to do to get someone's affection.
Think about how you act when you like someone and look for those signs in others. .
She might be shy, and act differently around you. Some girls are shy around guys they like, but very open to those they wouldn't really have a big relationship with. If she avoids you at school and talks to you after school and on weekends it means she's shy...it also means she might like you.

maybe you are shy for a reason, you are too young. you should be worried about school and future plans, then when you have discovered your self and are satisfied with your life should you be looking for relationships.
