Men get hair in the ears due to "Hypertrichosis"... This is purely hormonal.
And people get grey hair...???? Well, that's due to hormones too. You need to read a little about hormones in human body. It's really interesting

everyone no matter how old they are has grey hair. Its grey on the inside of the hair. The color of your hair is on the outside of the folicle and as you get older it fades away leaving the grey visible.
