To me, it sounds like you're calling yourself a loser when you say that.

Because of the way white people have already used it. Are you that dense?

It is late and I started to explain it to you, but I think that you know. I do not use the word. WHy is it that it bothers you that someone cannot use a racially derogatory word. What does that say? Do you want to use it? I hear people call each other all types of things, but I could care less because I have no desire to call them the same thing.

You are so shallow. We have a High school here and the schools name includes rebel. So at football games they flew the rebel flag not for racism but because of the schools name, and besides that the rebel flag does not stand for racism it stands for the civil war which is heritage, just like the American flag. Then there were people like you that caused a big stink and now these kids are not allow to fly their flag anymore. If you put blinders on you would be very surprised at how many of different ethnic people you would embrace.

First of all, all Black people do not use that word. It's more of a generational, youth, hip-hop era, etc. experience. Unfortunately, I've heard youth of other ethnicities, e.g., Asian, Latin, White, etc. calling each other that as well.

I grew up in the era of civil rights, and understand that the word is so entrenched with hatred and lack of rights, that I don't find anything light-hearted or humorous about it. Whites derived it from the word "*******," but created it to demena, segregate and harm black people.

The word actually relates to a "lazy, ignorant, person." Well, that being the case, it is not solely an attribute of those of african ancestry.

The word N I G G E R would die, if Black's would let it. It is so used in Black music, films, comedy routines that it is kept in the minds of all others.

If Blacks knew what a disgusting mental image that word has to some of us, perhaps they would use it less. Anyone who says the generalizations about blacks using the word more than anyone else, is simply naive or lying. Lying I think. We don't always buy stupid lies, even if we smile and accept the answer politically correctly.

Because of Ignorance, I hate to say this about my own race. But think about it wouldn't really matter what other people call us if we call ourselves Ignorant... That's what the word means, Ignorant... That's why i advise NO ONE to use it.

And people use it with their friends and buddies, but why call your friend stupid? I understand people say "oh he's my Ni**a", so it doesn't have the same meaning... when sadly it does :(

Because white people have already used it in the past in a negative way. Another question, why do women call each other b****es and sluts but they don't want men to call them that?
