No one can make cats get along unfortunantely. The same goes for you, if you really don't like someone, no matter how a friend insits they are a good person and you should get to know them, you're opinion will still stand. Same things with cats.
Either give this relationship time or get rid of a cat. O and if it turns so violent that blood is being splid, seperate them immeditatly and search for one of the cats a new home.
I know its probably not what you wanted to hear...but thats usually how it pans out, I have experience.

Time and bribes are the only answer lol. I used cat nip and all kind of cat toys. My cats took a few weeks to get use to each other and now after a few months they can just stand eachother long enough to not pounce on each others heards in the middle of the night lol.

I have never know cats living together not to tolerate each other, eventually. Give it time. If you give lots of attention to the established cat in the household, the others may realize that they have to seek him out to get attention from you. That works when you introduce a new cat into the house.
Are your cats spayed/neutered? That is a must to suppress nuisance behavior like fighting.

We have 3 cats. 2 are siblings, 3 y/o, and we adopted another 6 months ago. They all have their days when they fight. Just the other day Dos came running thru the livingroom and Bates jumped off the recliner onto his back.. Dos hisses at her all the time. Bates will also bite Babys neck until she lies down.. but then they will bathe each other... cats are strange.

this is a tough one. I am not a kook, but there was a time in my life when I actually lived with 5 cats. Not cool. How long have the three cats been together? Usually, with time they will establish amongst themselves a hierarchy and will work things out on their own. Here's a good article...
