I feel like I should call or at least text message my ex and say happy new year. We went out for four years and were never apart for a single new year's eve. But I broke up with him just this past Thursday and I don't know if I should contact him. I miss him a lot, especially tonight. What should I do?

Wishing him a happy new year and getting back in touch with him cause its a holiday is something totally different. If the break up was cause of something bad or cause it caused you pain. hen be nice and send a message and leave it at that. There will be alot of people out there Sunday nite looking for love be careful take your time but don't lock yourself indoors. Go out enjoy the coming of another year. That you were able to see. Remember the good times learn from the bad. And heal yourself call a friend hang with them if you can. Make ytourself known you are out in the field but you are taking things slow for now

If you broke up with him for something that he did wrong to hurt you during your relationship then do not call him. On the other hand if you are planning on going back to him just make the call. The ball is now in your court.

I think that you should text him, just to say happy new years eve, and that's it. don't talk about anything else. there is/was a reason for breaking up.

If you miss him that much most definitely contact him u still love him alot and u should ask him if he wants to just hang out tonite as friends and see what happens!!!

if it's that recent ...I suggest that you do it ...call him, but don't stay too long ,...just say that you wanted to say wish him a happy new year ...if you still love him, there is a chance that you can work that out again ..!!

if u think you will or want to get back with him- then text or call him. (cuz u want him to know u still care)
if u r truely done with him 4ever- who cares how he feels tonight. (right??)
