It was so bizarre! I was walking down the road to my Dad's old farmhouse--turned around and there was a tall cowboy behind me!! Had on black boots, black jeans, white shirt and a black hat! I was scared at first when I turned around--then figured out it was my brother--but in real life he was "retarded" and small and crippled. In my dream he just hugged me, said he was okay, and told me to keep walking down the road. I didn't want to, I asked him if I could go with him and he said not now. What in the world is this!!??

Hi Dreamcatcher,
In all likelihood you feel a mission in your life to look after your brother but you will need to do something for yourself along the way and may have to leave him to someone else's care awhile.
This dream was your way of realizing that he will let you go your own way and do what you need to do in life and always love you. He has faith you will return to help him later.

He is telling you he is OK and is not really retarded. In dreams people appear as much better and healthier than when they were alive. It is because they really ARE better off. After we die we are free of all illnesses. We even dress better. He loves you and wants to reassure you. You may have been worried about him or missing him. This was a very good, meaningfull dream and is a blessing from the other side.

Only you can tell the meaning of your dreams. My insight is that maybe part of you can see that he is not only OK but is a strong individual within himself. To the outside world he might be crippled and dependent on you and others but to himself he is going to live his life and make the most of it. Connected to this is permission for you to get on with your own life. Perhaps he is showing some independence and you cannot quite make sense of it. This dream is confronting you with his signs of independence.

It sounds like your "heart" was with your brother, thinking of him and happy to see him doing well (the fulfillment of your inner wishes for the best for him). As for the part about him wanting to be alone, don't let it bother you. And don't try to read too much into these types of dreams because they can confuse the emotions. Happy new year to you both.

I think it's just a deep longing for your brother to be well and healthy instead of crippled.

I dunno, you're siblings so maybe you're just connected like that and it's who he would have been had his body not have given him the situation he has to deal with.
P.S. I hope you jotted this one down for safe keeping... Even if just a dream, it would probably be such a nice one to share with your immediate family.

Nobody. Grow up and get away from that superstitious nonsense. Pray to God. He's the only answer.
