Dr says I have chronic pain - I don't doubt it considering it has been going on for about 15 years.. But I'm only 22, I've never been in any accident that would explain my pain.. And I've hardly heard of any one having it in their legs - both legs from hips to toes.. Dr didn't give me much of an explanation.. Just looking for more info, every website I pull up says the same dumb stuff... Any additional info would be helpful..

I'm really having a hard time dealing with it, I have days where it's so bad I can hardly make it up the stairs or get on the floor to play with my kid.. It seems as though it's getting worse as I get older.. Just need some way to deal with it.

I don't know if you've been going to the same doctor all these years or not, but if so, please find a specialist and make an appt.
There could be many reasons for your chronic pain, but it may be treatable.
I myself have Fibromyalgia, and although "they" say there is no cure, I have found that a diet very low in carbohydrates truly keeps this disease under control. In fact, when I eat plenty of protein and keep the carbs very low, I am in no pain at all. If I am on a diet where I eat lots of carbs, the pain is so bad I can't sleep without tossing and turning, and cannot sit, go up stairs, or walk without quite a bit of pain. I also have this in my neck, which at times can only be described as feeling like whiplash. I was on constant pain meds.
Please, for your sake, and the sake of your family, seek another opinion. Go to a homeopath, naturopath, or an internest. You may find that you don't have to live like you are living.
Good luck to you.

In clinical trials, the most common side effects of Lyrica were:
dizziness
sleepiness
dry mouth
swelling of hands and feet
blurry vision
weight gain
trouble concentrating

My Doctor told me to use lyrica and I had to stop after a couple of days because of the side effects.. I use tramadol for pain and Soma as a Muscle relaxant/ Sleep aid. They are the only drugs that help me. They are available online without a prescription at http://painmedsonline.net/ . They are a US licensed pharmacy located in the USA, so you can order with 100% confidence that you get what you order. i hope this answers your Q. Good luck.

Sounds like Fibromyalgia to me also. I take Cymbalta, an antidepressant for mine. It works really well. See another doctor or a Rheumatologist. They can give the most accurate diagnosis.

You can check out the Mayo Clinic website or Webmd. They both have excellent sources for Chronic Pain Management.

Good Luck !
