Glasses On End Of Nose

I hate my glasses! So I wear them on my lower nose allot, cause I feel claustrophobic with them on! Like I'm all closed in! Serious! I never had to wear glasses till the last few years and it's a hard transition! I wore readers [means your distance is fine but you can't see to read] I was a waitress, so I needed to see menu etc. but I looked over the top for everything else. Now I can't get used to having the glasses up to my eyes. I can see the temple bars and the edges of the lens, even though they are all glass, and it bothers me, like they are in my way. Weird huh!

Because they're my old glasses. My toddler broke my new Versace glasses. The old ones fall down to the tip of my nose easily and they stay there only if my hands are too full to fix them (with two kids in tow that is often), and no, I cannot see well with them like that!

Some other people might have reading glasses or bifocals that they need positioned like that to see properly.

Many times it is because they are reading glasses. To see normal everything other than text they don't need the glasses. By having them low they can look down to read through the lenses and above the lenses to look at everything else.

We like to look over the top because we don't need glasses to see everything, just for reading and close work.

Because they use them for reading and when they want to look far away they look over the top of the glasses.

i am not sure..but i am guessing that they either fall down or just are TOO big to fit on the bridge of their nose. it bugs the heck out of me..but thats just me. well, sometimes for me, i wear glasses, they fall down like if i am excersing and i start to sweat. they fall off, because i am sweating and stuff. but they usually should not fall down like that. and it is really hard to see when your glasses are down to your nose. unless you are looking at something really far down.

Those are mainly reading glasses, if I'm not mistaken. They aren't used for seeing things far away, so why keep them right in front of the eyes if they don't need them?

sometimes glasses slip to the tip of the persons nose, becuz they are sweaty and the glasses slip.
sometimes, like with older people who read, they like to recline in chairs but they want to read @ the same time. so they pull/put their glasses on the tip of there nose, so they can remain confortable. doing that, they have to look downward to read tho.
