if you love someone, you love them no matter what.
if they love you, they will see when their size is beginning to bother you and they will do something about it.
I think sometimes people get really fat to put a cushion or distance between themselves and getting too close because they fear loss of affection and unconsciously make it happen. That person actually needs more love and reassurance, but I agree it can be a gross out factor if they get way out of control.
Then people are single again and lose all the weight and find someone new, and it starts all over again. Viscious cycle.

It's called the Goodyear blimp. Your lack of education is showing through in your spelling. Happy New Years!!!

My hub and I got together when we were young, our bodies were not filled out. We were young and good looking, thin and athletic looking.

Now...so many years later..we are still in love and not too young, thin or athletic anymore, so we are a little thick.

Love trancends pounds...but if either one of us got really fat, like unhealthy fat, then I think we'd work on that. I recently lost 25 lbs and kept it off. Im working on taking more weight off in the future...hubby is too. Ahhh, Love....

u would of course still love them but you would hope that they would love you and have enough respect for you to try to get back in shape. Its inevitable we're all going to age, get heavier (maybe :) loose hair, whatever all that but true love prevails. You should hopefully be each others best friend and want to help each other deal with all that. I look forward one day being really old with the love of my life my husband walking hand in hand or rocking our grandchildren to sleep. Thats what I want , its just priceless to see old couples walking hand in hand, they are close to the end of their journey in this life together it melts my heart. I would never want to imagine life without my soulmate in it, I just need to be smart.

I wouldn't care, if it wasn't health-threatening. Even in that case, I'd love them enough to help them get and stay on a better diet. If they'd lost all of their personality, however, they'd have to go!

I would try and help them lose weight by eating right and working out... if they refused I'd consider leaving... but every guy knows once you leave a girl she looses at least 25lbs... so then if she looked good again I'd take her back...

Why would you leave them just for that? Aren't they the same person you fel in love with? How shallow can you be?
