Trying to find some shells for my 20 gauge to shoot geese. Only problem is, I can only find 3 inch and the barrel says 2 3/4 or shorter. I know 20 gauge isn't the best for geese, but the gun was free, and its a nice gun (870 wingmaster).

Remington has a 20ga. 2 3/4 inch load for geese. It's the Nitro Steel with 3/4oz. of 2s at 1425fps. That's the biggest shot size I know of for a 20ga. with a 2 3/4 chamber. Hope that helped.

Other than what geobert24 has, here are a few others, I can't find anything that large in 20ga. I have a Young Gun member in FL that Duck Hunts with a 20ga. He uses the Federal Loads in the #4's and does quite well. He can hold his own using that 20.

used to have a remington auto 5 in 20 guage. My uncle used to give me 2 3/4 shells for it in #3 buck. thats the only thing I had then. They did the job.
