I was brewing a batch of beer at home and when I added the priming sugar prior to bottling. I kind of just plopped it in. I was worrying about other stuff at the time and overlooked that detail. Is my beer Ruined?

probably not, may be a little flat (some of it) Home brew is the king of beers at least in most of the US. with the exception of SAM Adams. and probably lots of microbreweries. The reason beer is served so cold in the US is because it tastes so bad.

Keep up the good work, keep trying and keep experimenting.

No, it will be a little flat. there should be enough residual sugars and yeast in the beer to get the co2 going. It wouldn't hurt to store it in a warm place for a few days, so the yeast can become more active. good luck.

I don't think it will be ruined, but the idea is to have an equal amount of sugar in each bottle. I think your results will be that each bottle is different.

Home brewed beer sucks anyway with all that sediment settling at the bottom and all. Icky ka ka!
