I slammed it in the door and now it is black and blue. throbbing hurts really bad. Didn't go to hospital to drain the blood but still looking for a helpful solution so I won't feel so much pain in my thumb!! PLEASE HELP. THANX

You may want to go get it checked depending on how hard the door slammed, b/c you could have broken a piece of bone off or something, but I have had my fingers slammed in a van door so hard it cut right through my batting glove.. Hurt like hell for a long time, but couldn't afford to go to Dr. It healed just fine..

slam your other thumb in the other door..it's the only way..

YOu just have to wait it out, nothing you can do. Maybe take some Aleve or Advil...
