the riddle is
you try to find out which way to go, but you can only ask 1 question that can make you find the right road

Lemme get this right, there are two roads heading to San Francisco and one of these roads is the right way and the other your dead end. The only persons you could ask for directions is a compulsive liar and an honest bloke. You only get to ask one question before they both go away. So you're asking me what question should i ask?
If your a bootlegger in the 1920's coming in from Canada with a truck of moonshine heading for San Francisco and you arrive at a fork in the road, drive around, pick it up, and look for the spoon.
after you do that, ask the hobos by the side of the road what road did the two mob cars take. After getting a reply head back to Canada and drink your booze. What did the hobos say?

Gosh, I've heard this one!! But I can't remember the answer!! Doesn't it have to do with the asking the men to take you to where you live? something like that, but idk word for word...
