We do win many battles. However they also win many. Many of the "battles" they win do not even involve someone from their side dying. An IED can be driven into a car or a mine can be planted and injure or kill Americans without harming any of the terrorists. They also do have people willing to die for what they believe is a just cause. I am 100% pro American but this war is unjust. It is the same problem we had in Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, etc. Who is the enemy? Everytime someone innocent is killed that can create more terrorists. We have been in Iraq for almost four years and we have yet to significantly change our battle plans. We are trying to win this "war" with an Army and Marines who are not trained to handle what they are doing. They shredded the Iraqi forces in 21 days - that is what they are trained to do and they are damn good at it. Now however they are bogged down fighting a war that cannot be won through violence - especially when they do not seal the borders and allow even more terrorists to win.
What has to be done is we first have to remove "President" Bush from office and then make the best of this awful situation. Some day we will have to learn from our mistakes and realize there are battles we cannot win. In the future we have to prevent a situation like Iraq, not create one.

The Iraqi insurgents are not beating the United States military. The closest form of actual military action most insurgents are holding a gun. The only actual enemy the U.S. forces are facing to day are IEDs. They would hide the explosives in potholes in roads and just wait for a humvee to drive by and claim victory in the name of Allah. And if they even fight with guns, most insurgents are snipers or just wear regular clothes and hide in street crowds. They even have the lack of clear moral conscience to use their own people as human shields.
Religious backing to their train of though is one thing too. Where killing a human life can count as "points" to the afterlife, hurting or perminatly handicapping them gets them less. And if they die in their cause, the afterlife of a mardyer is completely materialistic pleasure. So life and death is no longer a problem (though most are very chicken now).
Actually, there are very little fighting between the insurgence and U.S. forces but filled IEDs. No red coats and blue coats.
So really, it not beating the U.S. forces if they hide. If they come out and really want to beat the U.S., then there's a different story.

Because they are fighting for a cause. And they have support from their leadership. We are fighting for peace and justice and we do not have the support of the country. Think of what you would feel like if you were over there and all you seen on TV was the Insurgents bombs going off and most of your country not supporting you. When this happens we tend to forget those men and women in uniform are not machines they are people that have feelings and need OUR support.
Also we are fighting a war on the insurgents terms and political terms and not war terms. If you think back to WW2 no one cared how many people died. The simple fact was to win and preserve life as we knew it and not to let a DICTATOR take over the world.
We have people in the USA that feel we should not be there. However what they fail to think of is that most of the people in the Middle East would like to see them dead than to be their friends.
We need to fight the war to win. Get it over with and quit trying to be everyone's friend. Support your men and women who are defending you and losing their lives for your freedom.
And above all support your goverment even when you do not agree with everything they do.
UNITED WE STAND!!!!
DEVIDED WE FALL!!!!!

The U.S. has or is about to achieve every goal the U.S. set out to do.
500 WMD shells were found, detailed plans to build a nuclear bombs were found, detailed plans of Iraq helping terrorists were found, Iraq has a democratically elected government, as of August 2005 85% of the infrastructured projects promised have been built and the number of Iraqi soldiers and police that the allies think is needed in Iraq will have been trained by June 2007. Also 3 out of 18 providences are completely controlled by Iraq, with all the providences handed over by April 2008.

You must be the only person that thinks that the insurgents are winning anything. I'm guessing you have never been there, have you? What they are doing however, is dying for their beliefs in droves. Put it to you this way. It is far safer to be a soldier in Iraq, than it is to be an insurgent.

They have everything to gain and nothing to lose...because they have nothing. They have no place to go and believe in their cause. There is no way we are gonna win because we cannot ID the enemy yet he can easily ID us..same as Vietnam.
Compare that with our military...nothing to gain...nothing to lose ..just wanna go home and be heroes.
We wil not win anything...we are just making things worse in an attempt to make it better. We are morally weak and just wanna go home.
Ten years of Vietnam...and the USA is stupid enough to do it again..I have ZERO sympathy

What battle have they won? The US Army and Marines can go where they want any time they want in Iraq. The Insurgents are killing other Iraqis in droves not US troops. Why? Because we kill them by the bushel when they try attacking US troops.

I see they let you out and without your meds. It's obvious since you keep asking the same tired old questions to rile the unsuspecting folks on here who wonder how anyone can be so callous.
Well folks, let me tell you about this half tard. He was one of those poge's in the rear with the gear in Vietnam. He never got a chance to see any action, frankly I believe it was because he was too afraid. Guys like this usually wound up catchin one in the back, because the rest of the guys wouldn't trust his sorry @ss to take on his share of the duty. Guys like this are considered a loose cannon!
So half tard spends his meaningless life trying to discredit our guys doing their duty and risking their lives so dirt bag here can harass families who's loved ones are over in the sh it, taking care of business. Does that about explain your intentions, dipstick?
