Or it's just your subconcious. Dreams aren't necessarilly always visions or religious in nature: perhapes these images only represented something else occuring in your life and your mind chose vessels familiar to you, such as Satan and God.

Dare I even admit this. I have had the same experience and haven't told anybody else apart from my parents. But as its on here, I am not worried.
I was barely even asleep when it occured and I was sucked downwards, through my feet. It was as though I had no control other than to go down, as that it was like a magnet. Everything was so dark, that like you, I could not see properly at all. I remember the sensation of mud on both sides of my body (or soul). It was like being sucked down into a portal or tight tunnel made exactly to fit a human being. I heard the most horrific screaming as I was being sucked downwards, humans and also the sounds of animals/beasts. I was being yelled out into my ears, my face and I the terror was immense.
It was the first and only time it ever occured. I took it as a warning, as I was considering doing something I knew was wrong before that occured. THe last thing I expected was an experience that was so real, I cannot even recall the sensation of sleeping or waking from it. I went into it, and came out of it.
For me, it was a warning I believe. For you? Hard to say. These things should not be scoffed at too readily, as they could well be a signal. certainly, if it was real and a warning, then either Satan is angry with you and wishes to cause you despair, as he does with many believers (even saints have been tormented and thought they were going to Hell). Or it could be a warning.
I don't know your life, so how can I possibly judge? It frightened me also, but never did occur again.
If you know that you are not committing great sins that Christ has warned us of and you pray, I am doubtful it would have been a warning, but it is better to take these things and think carefully, rather than discard them too readily.

I believe you already know the answer, but you are afraid to believe it possible. But, one of the most promising phrase from the Bible is "fear not!"
It is possible that you have been sinking into depression and oppression from forces out of your control - and it could very well be torment from darkness (yes, even satan and his demons). Perhaps you don't know where to turn or what to do next. Depression and a feeling of being lost in darkness...
While the initial part of the dream might have been inspired by satan's forces, God has clearly intervened and given you a gift. The hand that reaches yours finds a willing hand on your part and very quickly and pulls you out. It isn't a warning, but a promise to trust Him. Don't be afraid, put your trust in Jesus and He will not only pull you out of the pit, but bring you to such faith that will allow your hand to be the one to pull someone else out of another pit. He has the power to pull you out of the darkness!
Only satan wants you to be frightened about this dream since he wants you to focus on the first part of it. Why be frightened that a loving hand pulls you quickly from darkness? Why not be joyous! So much so that you want to tell everyone?
It only takes a willing hand on your part to be pulled out of the pit. I know. I'm glad I took the hand.
God bless you.
Happy New Year.

Dreams are very much spiritual.
Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
There are many accounts in the bible of dreams and spiritual encounters.
Although I'd be very careful of having others interpret your dreams. It is between you and God. There are false teachers and prophets out there that will say what makes them seem good and smart or say what people want to hear.
My advice get in the word, the Bible, which is the truth of all things, and ask God what it means.

Dreams come from a multitude of sources - including, too much spaghetti and as the bible says, "a multitude of business".
Dreams can certainly come from God and dreams can certainly come from Satan. I have had both.
But it is best to leave dreams and the meaning of dreams in God's hands. If He wants you to understand the meaning, He will give you the meaning. It shouldn't be a matter of people thinking this or that or giving their opinion. After all, your life hasn't changed has it because of the dream?
You should say, "Jesus, I commit my dream to you. I don't understand it but You do. Help me to simply love you and obey you today!"
Be thankful for what God has done for you. Ask Him to make You a disciple worthy of the name Christian. Commit your days and nights - and your dreams - to Him.
god bless

with the aid of fact with the aid of fact something is allegorical or metaphorical does no longer mean this is mythological. there's a great factor of difference between those 2 issues. frequently Myths have a "undying" area of them. we don't be attentive to whilst they got here approximately...this is often in a by employing long previous era. maximum of what's indexed in the bible has incredibly specific dates related to it. pupils ought to argue approximately 3500BC or 3200BC..yet it extremely is a lot greater precise then many of the thoughts from Greek Mythology. additionally a Metaphor isn't comparable to fantasy. A metaphor means you're equating 2 issues as variety of an analogous. maximum in all possibility what you meant replaced into the two allegorically or figuratively. Many have reported that Adam and Eve are allegories for the unique team of people. this does not cause them to mythological. they are in simple terms stand ins for the actual team of people. yet, in the tip, we are able to quibble over definitions and categories. the #a million reason that bible questions concerning the non-literal parts of the bible are published in the R&S area is using the fact they are the inspiration for a faith, greater so than a fantasy. it is likewise the place the persons maximum qualified (in case you even dare to call it that) to respond to the question ensue to BE. So it has a minimum of as lots to do with the objective audience with the aid of fact the priority. God Bless

It means you have anxiety about something in your life.
Go for a bush walk, do some fishing, and give religous thought a rest for a while. Difficult I know, but try and get there.

I'd say you have a deep fear of going to hell, but enough faith to believe He'll save you. All we can do is the best we can do. Do what you believe to be right and you'll be fine.
