please heed this advice from a licensed professional. stop her immediately. she is going to end up with screwed up hair that will cost a fortune to fix , not to mention lots and lots of TIME before it is well again. GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!! i can't tell you how often I've seen this happen at work. why do you think cosmetologists study, chemistry, color theory and the properties of the hair and scalp among other things. the investment in a good stylist (not necessarily an expensive one) is the least your wife deserves. am i right? you can email me at luvspiritnature@yahoo

I dye my hair every 3-4 weeks and my hair is fine. I do use a lot of leave-in conditioners, which is probably why my hair isn't that bad. I'd recommend your wife going to a hairdressers to have her hair dyed, as they know what they're doing.

She can redo it. I would do a baking soda cleanse on it first (also good if you take medication and have your hair permed or dyed, it takes the chemicals out of the hair shafts) Mix a paste of water and baking soda,to the consistency of a thick shampoo. "Shampoo" it into your hair and leave it in for approx. 30 minutes. Thoroughly rinse it out, then go ahead with your color.

1.you could go to www.timerenewal.com (it's pantene-the shampoo) and take the quiz. you could the use shampoo they suggest. they have a shampoo that is just for hair that has been through alot. it takes away the damage.
2. you could lay off on the dyeing until your hair is healthy.
3 you could take vitamins (see what vitamins help you hair become healthy.)
-- i think you should try all that.
hope this helps.

I don't think it will fall out..however, it will break off and become dry and brittle if not done properly. Maybe have a professional look at it or find a website that can advise. Good Luck.

It might get really dry & break off, but it won't fall out.
