I Can not Open The Driver Door On My 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix Coupe SE.?

I Removed a portion of the inner pannel, the locking rod appears to be moving the lever but i can't tell if the door lack lever is moving. I just need some suggestions on getting the door opened. i'm planning on putting on a replacement door.

All you can do is to try to wiggle a coat hanger or some type of hook device to grab a hold of a lever or rod that isn't broken inside close to the latch. It might even be the door lock rods or levers are broken so the latch is actually locked. If you are replacing the door anyways, cut a hole in the panel to easily access the latch area.
