So, I think that one of my New Year's Resolutions is going to be to take a break from boys, for awhile. Liking them, loving them, giving a damn what they think. In the course of two months, I've been rejected and hurt more times than I can count. No guys are ever going to feel the same way about me, as I do them, so why should I even bother?
Oh, yeah, I also wanna make a resolution that I'm not gonna cry on Valentine's day, when I'm all alone, and everyone around me is in love. (bleh.)
Anyone wanna join in these resolutions with me?

Methinks thou should not make such statements. Most of the fun is the chase.

Well, we all feel like this sometimes! Its perfectly natural, but dont just give up. Talk to them for a long period of time before making any commitments. There are some good ones and some bad ones...it seems like you have experienced more of the bad. The other resolution about not going to cry on valentines day was a good one. Dont let boys get you down. Go out party, meet new boys, and have FUN! Hope I helped!

I think it's a good resolution. Be yourself, have fun and if the right guy is out there, you may just find him anyway. If not, don't cry on Valentine's Day. Make it a good day for someone else and you'll be happy too...it can be a friend, mom, dad, sister, grandmother or even your whole family. Don't dismay, your day will come. I can feel it in my bones.

Being rejected in the span of two months isn't as bad as being rejected by someone with whom you shared a six-month relationship and got engaged. I definitely think that if it's making you so sad, you need to take a break.
I'm in a relationship right now, but I will definitely join you in not caring as much about what people think of me. Insecurity equals misery.
Good luck, and Happy New Year!!

I'll join. I just broke up with my bf 2 months ago. I'm afraid I'm going to get hurt again so I stoped even though two guys asked me out and I said no to both of them. I kinda feel more free being single in a weird sorta way.

It's called "The Dating Game" and at times it sucks. There are just as many guys out there that have been hurt by a girl so just hang in there. There is the right guy out there somewhere for you.

I'll join you. I also am going to stay away from boys. But, since I am a boy, and I like girls, it won't be that hard for me to do. If you change your mind about boys, send me an email.

Being single gives you the chance to get to know yourself and be notice. Showing loneliness is a main attraction. Also my gradma once told me LET LOVE FIND YOU.
