Its a game and vulerability.. it says alot of thing.. like he is embarrased about the girl. otherwise, he would be proud to show her off. Even if he does like her.. he doesnt want to show everyone else that he has someone, he wants to remain "single looking"

Sounds like an immature guy trying to get some play. Don't fall for it. He wants something and it's not a relationship. Lose the loser.
If they don't treat you with respect at ALL times then they don't respect you. It has nothing to do with vulnerability.

it has a little to do with his personality it means hes insecure and doesnt know if hes ready to make a move
hes probably really shy around girls in general
and hes not sure yet if he wants to take a chance
because most guys get scared and dont want to get hurt
and he could just be playing with you and doesnt have good intentions and is using you i couldnt really tell cause i dont know the person

he really likes you, but he is afraid what his friends think. If they see that he really likes you they might tell him things like don't hang out with her all the time and they will get jelous. He isn't ready to be open with the relationship. It is just like you won't bring the boy to your parents on your first date b/c you want to wait till it becomes serious before telling the world.

It means he's a jerk. A guy that doesn't treat you the same when you're alone as when you're w/ his friends doesn't deserve to have a g/f.....Guys like that are stupid jerks.
