Chinese? Well, mass produced weapon, condition doesn't really matter much on such a widely used weapon. Maybe $240 to $300 with the box or original carton.

All of the others are wrong! With out knowing exactly the model that you have and the markings on it there is no way to know. Value wise you could be looking at any thing from $50.00 to $500.00. Repost with a list of all of the markings that are on it. If it uses an AK mag, has it benn converted to a duck bill mag, if so does it come with an original mag and if so is that mag a 10 or 20 round mag, what kind of stock is on it and if it includes any thing in the way of stripper clips, mags, scope, if a bayonet w/screw is included and sling. If there are strippers then you will need to say if they are gray or black/blued.

Go to auctionarms.com or gunbroker.com and type in SKS. It will give you a list of such rifles and what the selling/asking price is.
These aren't a collector's item since they are so common. $250.00 would be all I'd pay for a good one.

I bought one about 5 years ago and paid $125 for it,a lot of fun to shoot but not real accurate and mass produced.I would not give more than $200 for it and it would have to be in good shape.

You're probably looking at $150 to 200. I bought one from a gun store that sells them en mass for $150.00 Canadian. They're an awesome little carbine, I can't believe how cheap they are.
