I'm the oldest of 4. I was always to blame for everything and had to be like the Guinea pig for everything. I never really got to do much because I was the first born...they didn't know how things worked yet. Now my sister and brothers get to do a lot more than when I was young.

I'd rather be the youngest! He gets a lot attention and help with school work (which I never did). I wouldn't want to be a middle child, because I've noticed my sister and brother get overlooked sometimes.

I am the only child and I would have preferred to be the youngest or the oldest child. It is hard to be the only child with no siblings to turn to for help or support.

I think it depends on the situation. I am the oldest. Sometimes I LOVED it, other times I hated it and wished I was an only child or the youngest. No matter what, there is no perfect or right answer. I am happy, love my siblings (now haha).

Oldest child worked for me. Although, I did have to babysit and I was responsible for their actions most of the time.

I read that 21 of the first 23 astronauts were first borns (oldest)... we're adventurous and leaders (because we were the guinea pigs in the family.) I prefer first born.
