I am naturally messy, so whenever I am expecting company, I quickly straighten up my house. Lately this guy I like has been just dropping by a lot without calling. If I am not home, he tells me that he stopped by but I wasn't home. The past couple of times I was home, my house was a mess because I didn't have time for my straightening rituals. I really like him. He says he doesn't care about the mess. It's hard for me to believe it, because I don't even really like it when it's messy. It's all related to loneliness, because, when I live with other people, I clean out of respect for them. My messiness is frustrating to me so it's hard for me to believe he's really okay with it.

Just learn to be more organized - if not for him, for yourself. Being neat is definitely a turn on for me, especially with women. It shows that you have your life together. He's probably OK with it, but hey, you can always improve.

Why don't you just take 15min out of your day, every day, and clean your house? Set a "ritual" up like,
Once a week: Vacum, Dust, clean the bathroom
Twice a week: Do laundry, Take out the trash
Three times a week: Tidy up the living room and your bedroom
Every day: Make your bed (this takes two min) Do dishes, (same time), Make sure you have a clear path to your bed. lol
This sort of thing helps. And yes, I do all of these things! :D Good luck!

To be honest. If I see a messy house, I think two things. A. Do I want to live this way? B. A messy cluttered house may be an indication of emotional issues. It is a yellow flag to me.

He may not be okay with it. He may just be polite. So take a half hour or so every day and clean it up. Not that hard.

hes a man. men are usually messy people, that is why he probably does not care. he probably thinks it is endearing that he found a chick who lives the same kind of lifestyle he does.
