Hell I selectively read what you assume is the correct question lol i.e. car wash.

with regards car wash - depends on how it is used and what resources are being engaged as variuos different car washes use different reources.

With regards war cash - I think our taxes are wasted on it and should not be used to defend or rehabilitate or rescue any other country than our own.

I also take it you meant, Car Wash.

Car washes are needed for the environment prospective also...here is why: You got to wash your car once in awhile to get all the bugs and junk out of your grill. These bugs will plug up the air flow to your coolant system (radiator)...this in turn causes the engine to work harder and burn more fuel and oil...which leads to less productive vehicle gas milage.

Secondly, this may seem minimal but a clean car is better areodyamically and eqates to better gas milage also. I saw a test on a tv show (Probibly Mythbusters) about racing two equil cars (nascar I think)...one was a dirty car, the other a clean one and the dirty one lost.

So, no...most of that water gets reused or sent back to the sanitation authority for treatment for re-use.

As a side note to your question...if they go to those Hydrogen cars in the future you can use your vehicles by-product or exaust (water) to wash your car.
