Im naturally blonde and my husband of 20 years has just admited to prefering dark hair can i go dark without looking silly or should i just tell him tough

Hi, if you love someone it should not matter how they look, i pref fer blonde but my wife is dark haired, (may be we should swap lol) happy new year.

Lol, my hubbys the same. Well, he doesnt prefer brunettes but all his ex's were dark and Im the only blonde hes been with. I say hes wrong to say he 'prefers' dark, he must love you!! Happy 2007 xx

I get the feeling you fancy a change but are concerned re the 'matching' issue? If it makes you feel any better, my daughter has been a blonde all her life but when the 'cuffs' grew in...they came in VERY dark brown!!! So nature is a peverse thing, don't sweat it and be whateva colour you like!!!!!! Cos you CAN !

Tell him tough, definitely. It's obviously not that important to him if he already married you. I'm sure there are things you could find about him that you'd prefer another way too, but it doesn't stop you loving him does it? And why should you change to suit what he wants? If someone doesn't love you the way you are, they're not worth your love.

Sure you can go dark, but I would think an ash brown would be much better than black and look more natural.

umm if he loves u it shudnt matter but if u want spend more time in the dark always makes my hair darker (im a blonde too)
