Here are a few good exercises for building up your chest:
Dips! Compound exercise that moves the body through space. If you can find tapered dip bars (closer together in front of you) that would be best, but otherwise just do dips with your elbows pointed out. If your elbows point back behind you you're working too much triceps and not enough chest.
Bench press. BUT don't do bench like most guys do, with the bar at sternum level. Use dumbbells and keep your elbows high, even with your shoulders. This maximizes chest involvement and prevents the triceps from "cheating" the weight up. Using dumbbells allows you to "squeeze" your pecs together at the top of the movement, whereas the bar doesn't. You can get a better contraction with dumbbells, and they work your stabilizer muscles as well.
Dumbbell flyes. On a flat bench with elbows high (shoulder level) and palms facing each other, bring the weights down to the sides. It's not necessary to extend the dumbbells out to the side, just a bit past perpendicular is sufficient. Push the weights straight up and extend your arms until the bells meet in front of you. This is a great exercise to work the upper chest.

Pushing away from the body with arms like a "pushup". Also, you can try a medial movement toward the midline of the body in a horizontal plane like chest flyes using dumbbells.
