Ok well I went into Eharmony, looked at the buying options and it said I can buy one year for 20.95 and one month was 50 bucks. So I went with one year, paid with paypal and guess what? it was 251 bucks!!! What the heck???
So I cancelled it, I don't know if it'll cancell all of it.
Do I need to close my account(the freepart too) completely in order to get a refund?

Sounds like it was 20.95 per month, which makes sense - why would you think that a shorter period of time was more expensive? Depending on the details in the user agreement (or whatever version of a contract you agreed to when you signed up), you may or may not be able to get a refund. Try contacting their customer service department and explaining that there was a misunderstanding - they should tell you what options you have.

You should keep the subscription. Is meeting a quality partner worth $251 to you? Just think of the dates and the perks that yo will get from the guys taking you out. It's well worth it. It appears you are just surprised because you misunderstood it.

You read wrong. You either pay 20.95 X 12months= $251.40 all up front or you can pay 1 month at a time and pay $50.

Well the are right when they say only 20.95 a month for 1 year 209.95 X 12 = $251.40 you over looked the pre month

.Because it's 20.95 per month for a year not 20.95 for the whole year if you multiply 20.95 times 12 you get 251.40. If you go for one month then the charge would be 50.00.

It was prob 20.95 per month or so.
Call their customer service, Im sure if you only had it for a day or so they will help you out.

The guy advertising it always came across as a con artist to me. $250.00 is nuts. Thanks for the info!
Cancel it through Paypal, they guarantee purchases similar to credit cards (60 day protection).

customer service can help you. I signed up a few weeks ago for 3 months & the site sucks! i get very few matches that are appropriate for me. i think aliens have landed on that site & filled out profiles. it's also very tedious. GET YOUR MONEY BACK!
