i feel bad man, but i think you should either come back and grovel and say sorry for all the bad stuff even if it wasnt your bad, and get her back and patch things up (hiring a hitman to take care of the other guy helps too lol jk or am i? ) or move on and start over (self medicating with alcohol at this point is acceptable but should be kept to a minimum its a shitty habit to get into), but 4 years is a loooonnnngg time, go for her man gett 'er back (maybe shes just trying to get you to come back with this other guy as leverage?)

The truth of the matter is that she probably knew this guy while you were together. This may have been part of the reason you broke up, I cannot say. This story is all too common. The best thing you can do is forget about her. Watch the movie 'Swingers' and possibly 'High Fidelity' (although better to read this one). Become an island. Find yourself and that you need no-one else. You're much better off without that kind of girl.
It will happen.
Best of Positives to you.

people only leave relationships when they aren't happy. i have not read your earlier posts, but i would guess that while you thought things were ok, she obviously didn't get the same joy in the relationship that you did.
if you really love this woman, then you will not want to cage her into being unhappy, even if that would mean you got to be with her. instead, now you both have the chance to find someone who will, in the long run, keep you truly happy.
it is probably natural that your ex is ready to move on before you are, as she was obviously the one who was ready to make a break for a while. and so while you are still dealing with the break up, she has done so in her own heart before now, and it just looking to move on in her life.
it might take you a while to get over the relationship, but it is called a break up because it is broken - so this is probably the best thing for both of you - even if you can not see that now.

ok first of all im sorry about your break up, but if it were suppose to be you wouldnt be apart. As hard as this will be to listen to , you need to move on. Clearly she has and you have to remember it is her loss. And as always she will notice it when you do move on. Im sure your a great guy who wont have any problem finding someone else. Your soul mate is out there somewhere. give it time. dont rush and enjoy the ride. Trust mem ( famous words i know) but the right one is out there just open your eyes.
