well I had it several times as a child. I had long dark hair. Lice tends to like darker hair rather than blond. Also you don't have to be dirty to get head lice. You can get it from sitting on a bus near someone or even sit in a public chair that has a lice on it. I believe many people think this is a dirty person disease when it definately is not. My daughter came home from school one friday and her head was itchy it turned out she got head lice. I phoned the school and they had to check all the children in her class several children had it.

about 7 years ago...I babysitted a couple kids and little did I know their mom dropped them off while she went out of town for the weekend and their head was full of bugs..I had them once and never want them again

way back when i was in 1st grade. i got it from some girl who sat next to me in class. that was about 14 or 15 years ago.

Never had it, my mother made sure we were clean. Our Hygiene was better then that.
