Mmmmm. 1 apple per person- i prefer a large granny smith
peel and core the apple.
1 pie crust per apple- pillsbury crusts in the
refridgerated section of your grocery store- there
are two per box/package.
Place each apple on the center of the round crust
and then fill with some 1/4 cup or so brown sugar
with shakes of cinnamon,
squeeze of lemon, walnuts if you like, a few
raisons or cranberies if you like, and a pad of butter
on top (about 1 TB).
I would also sprinkle white sugar and cinnamon all
over the crust that the apple sits on. A few
chopped nuts if you like.
Next: fold the crust up any way you like and roll and
pinch to close. sprinkle a little sugar on top and
place in the oven. Bake as an apple pie- 45 min or
so til crust is golden. Also poke a hole at top of crust to let out steam while cooking. If you want to be extra fancy use course grind sugar or sugar sprinkles and place some on the outside of the crust for decoration. Tasty, fancy, and easy.

When folding the crust practice carefully a few times. You can fold up around apple in a triangle sort of shape and pinch down where the hree sides come together. SOOOOOOOOEASY!!

Core it, peel a one inch strip from around the middle, put a dab of butter & brown sugar in the core, bake in an inch of water at 350 degrees for approx. 45 minutes or until tender to knife point.

yum
we used to peel them, dig the center out, put brown sugar and/or maple syrup in the middle, pour a little apple juice over them, cover with foil and cook in the oven. Microwave works too.
