Hard to say, since we don't know what kind of restore disk you have. Does it have instructions on the disk perhaps?
This is a rather drastic step. I hope all your data you want to save is backed up. If not you risk loosing it all.

1) back up all your data
2) insert xp disk, hit delete to enter bios, set to boot from cdrom
3) reboot and follow instruction on screen. you'll want to delete your current C:\ partition
4) repartition disk space in NTFS format

You make sure you save everything you need first, and after it gets started, it will guide you, and make sure you download all the patches and drivers you need etc. good luck :)
