I have brown hair and have used the red and orange like colors and I noticed it stayed in my hair for a long time other people have said that too but I don't know why it stayed in my hair that long

I hate to tell u u can't beleive everything u read like hair color that tells u it washes out 8-10 or 10-25 whatever it doesn't work that way especially with blonde hair because blonde grabs color faster than any others And u really need to let a professional stylist take care of it cause that's what u need there's nothing at home that will work i hope the stylist can help do the right thing by mixing a little bitof hair bleach with peroxide and water and run it through your hair until the brown is gone but u will have to consult with them about what color of blonde to use on it after the bleach peroxide and water mix washes out the brown and be sure she or he does a deep conditioner on it Good Luck but be prepared to pay a pretty penny

Sounds like your hair was really porous, and sucked up the color from the product. Had you previously dyed it a lighter shade of blonde(within 3-8 months from applying hair pulse)? Or is your hair naturally porous? I ask this because with most hair dyes(regardless of whether it's demi/semi permanent) if your hair has been highlighted or bleached, then the results could be permanent.

I wouldn't recommend over-washing your hair as the surfectants in the shampoo could not only dry your hair out, but possibly cause your hair to become dry and brittle(if it isn't already). This could lead to breakage, in addition to you being unhappy with the color not washing out. Shampooing excessively will also only dull the color. It will not strip it from your hair at this point.

I'd try to get a consultation from a professional to see what they'd recommend. Or contact Loreal, tell them what has happened and ask for recommendations.

Wash it the day before dying it so today basically and when you rinse it out make sure you wash your hair with a mild plain shampoo. A mistake many people make is not rinsing with shampoo just because it doesn't say that in the instructions but if you don't use shampoo you basically have chemicals left in your hair for how ever long until you wash it and if they dry on your head it can be damaging.

Hi, When your hair is light, a darker color can tend to not easily wash out..I would not put more chemicals on top of it..I would continue to wash and condition my hair.It will eventually grow out..If you do not like the color, you should go to a professional and let them put a tint in it to soften the color (only if you donot like it)..You should not have to suffer with a color that is offensive to you..Happy New Years !

If your hair is too light, then it probably stained it. You know when you open up the package, and theres the paper inside that says all the colors and the hair colors and all that stuff??? well if youre not on the reccommended one, then it'll stain your hair

it doesn't always work with light hair. and don't stress over it! brunettes are cute! most guys like brunettes these days anyway. but a lot of dye like that takes time to fade out. it will probably go away in a month or so.

Try any dish washing liquid, or cheap shampoo to wash out the color.
It will take a few tries.
Good luck!

Use Herbal Essences shampoo and Condishinor. This happened to my sister. If it doesn't work, go to your hair styleist, and she can bleach it, then, if its too light, she can dye it to your naturall color.
