Aesops, but I think if the Bible wasn't so eloquent more people might be able to understand it better

Every time I have read the Bible, I find something new. There is suspense, adultery, faithfullness, hope, love, romance, backstabbing, mystery, poetry...I have read the other literary works and they don't begin to compare Shakespeare even plagiarized it. 1st Corinthians 15!

If I thought the BIble was only a bunch of myths and legends, I wouldnt take it seriously either, I definantly wouldn't base my life on it. But thats why I encourage you to examine the Bible yourself. The Bible tells us about real events and real people—people who faced the same challenges we do, and had the same hopes and dreams we have. But many of them had another dimension to their lives also: a spiritual dimension. The reason wasn't just because they believed in God, but because they knew God in a personal way. We canalso have the same Hope of forgiveness and personal relationship with him. Most Importantly, The Bible tells us about God and About what he has done for us by coming to earth and dying on a cross. The BIble says sin (transgression of the Ten Commandments) has seperated us from God, if you have lied, stolen, looked with lust, used gods name in vain ect, you have sinned against God. Not only that, But God has set us to be made in the image of he who is invisible, he made us to be his represenatives to the world of who he is and when we lie and steal and look with lust and blaspheme, we say to the world that God is a lying thieving blapshemer, we not only transgress his law, but we also slander his name. he is just and Holy and will execute Justice on those guilty of doing these things, The Bible says all liars will have thier part in the lake of fire and so will thieves and blasphemers and adulterers. But God has done something to end the seperation between us and HIm and forgive our sins. God himself came to earth and died for your sins, you broke the law and Jesus paid your fine himself. heres the challenge to you. The BIble says anyone who will repent (turn from sin) and trust in the savior will be forgiven and granted everlasting life. Not only that But God will reveal himself to you, this dosent mean you will have celestial visions or hear voices, rather God will make you a new creature with new desires and new mission to serve Him and he will give you his spirit as a wittness. I know this is true, because I have followed the BIbles command, and Im soundly saved. God is livivng in me and his word has come alive in my life. most importantly, when my Body is placed in a casket in the funeral Home, surrounded bythe multitudes who I knew and loved, my soul will dwell with the lord. Theres only one way to know this is true, Don't let pride, or fear, or anything else keep you from the Bible, and from the One who is its center: Jesus Christ. When you honestly examine it, you'll discover the greatest truth anyone can ever know: God loves you, and He has provided a way for you to know and dwell with Him and he will change your life if you will get pride out of the way and trust in Christ.
God Bless
