I am going to a new years party tonight and I don't really know alot of people. What should I do to feel more comfortable around all of these people I don't know? What should I do if I don't know what to say or have nothing to do, with out looking rude?

Step outside of your shell and make a new friend or friends. Make small talk with people. Keep the conversation at a level 1 or 2. if people want to go deeper then follow their que. Don't get drunk. that never helps out, you will make a fool of yourself more often than not. You are a valuable person! What other people think, you can't control. Go out and have a good time and be safe!!

Mingle, smile & introduce yourself to a lot of people. It's also called Networking ~ meet new people & have fun, after all, it is one of the biggest holidays of the year!
