Depends on the girl and how she responds to you. If she accepts my "no" as a "no" and she is someone that i enjoy being with then yes.

If he's looking at you romantically, he's looking at you sexually. If he's your friend and doesnt look at you romantically, he's still thinking sexually at some point or another. That's a guy and you just cant get away from that fact. You may be able to keep em backed off from approaching, but let the guy go invest his romantic feelings into a gal who's available. He's not going to do that as long as you remain friends. Gay guy friend or hetero girl friend is your option.

I'm in that position right now. I just try to pretend it doesn't exist for the sake of the friendship. I'm not bothered by it or anything.

as long as they dont keep trying to push for a relationship its cool. it bothers me when their always trying to get you to take them out even though you tell them your just friends.
