neither.
I anticipate the end of the world caused by us humans and our religious wars.
I anticipate the fact that we are not the only living this in this universe, but finding ET is unlikely, as we are not the only beautiful things in this universe, extraterrestrial sounds too abnormal... theres probly another planet with people like us...
I anticipate that the second coming was created as a con to get christians acting on there best behavior, which i have yet to see.

19%, though I think we will see Santa Claus' return before we see the second coming of Jesus Christ. And extraterrestrial life exist, I just wonder if terrestrial intelligence does anymore.

I would go with the second - IMO theres a lot more chance of scientists finding extraterratrestrial life than there is of Jesus returning.

There can't be intelligent life elsewhere. If there was, they would have been created by God in His image. They would have fallen, just like Adam and Eve. They would have needed a Savior, just like us. And Christ would have to go and die for their sins too.

But the Bible says Christ died once, was raised from the dead, and now is seated at the right hand of God. He can't go be born, die, and resurrected again!

Now, there may be animal life on other planets. God is a very created God!

And I'm always looking for Christ's return (at the rapture). But nobody knows when it will happen. We are just to be looking for our "blessed hope".

I would fall under the 3% who believe that the two are or will be one in the same.

There is no extraterrestrial life, and no one knows the time of Christ's return.
