You are sweat. How old are you ?In paradise , decorations can be kept forever.I myself keep them much more then other persons because I have a daughter of 9 years old. When she was 7 , she found the christmas tree and place it during summer in the living room , with decorations. There were 5 motnhs till Christmas , but she didn't care and we couldn't convince her.I realised that children live in paradise , a different univers .I am very sad when the decorations must be hidden till the next Christmas , but I am happy thinking that it follows a Easter . Actually as I said , decorations might be kept forever , and the angels are singind and playing difererent instruments . This year was for the first time when I realised that for some , because of their boss and work , Christmas is one single day , but for others Christmas means 2 months. Why would we feast for a month if Christmas lasts only a day ?Also the Easter can last a month .There are two celebrations of God , the second after a month.I know an author who used to say in short story that ''God give us all the year celebrations , and only one day of work and that day God give a wedding day and ...''IThe author reffers to the year of the celebrations of the holly days of the saint. In ortodox church every day is the day of a saint or more.Actually I heard of the spirit of Christmas . This Spirit is the happiness of the soul coming from the soul of God .I myself few days ago , was sorry for leaving Christmas and said to myself , I shall listen the songs dedicated to Christ even in summer, to have the same feeling of happiness. Is this a stupid thing? I don't think so , because in paradise , we shall sing to God every day.I think , He is that handsome and clever and good at heart , that we shall sing to Him every time we see Him.Nice isn't it ?

According to my dad (from the American South), it's bad luck to keep decorations up past New Years, but most people seem to leave their stuff up a few days longer.

I had a friend that took everything down the day after Christmas. She said, once the presents were gone the tree looked silly standing alone. I leave mine up till after the New Year.
I guess everyone has their own thoughts on when everything should come down.

It's up to you! Not for any particular reason-you put things away when you feel -it's time. For years Up went the tree onthe 20th of December, and everything got put away on either the 1st or 2nd of January-because I was afraid of fire,Now I do it even with an artificial tree-because it's just easier to put it away while I'm off work for the holidays. So it's up to you totally.
