A question comes to mind, "What lie did he tell?" Are you saying he now admits he does not like you? I would suggest that you can tell him that you respect that he came forth and was honest with you... Growing up has real awakenings and many women and men may not be honest! It can take long times with anyone to see if anyone is really honest... Honesty is hard, sometimes, as we all know... Example: Your friend is very fat and she puts on a bikini and asks you how she looks? I am sure you would not be harsh but maybe say, "It is really not you, dear!"
