You don't know until you are in one. Will be different from one person to another.
That said, it has to have these elements:
1. Trust - trust in each other and self
2. Understanding - you must understand the other persons' motives and your own, and all basic rules must be laid out and understood, and agreed upon regarding relationships.
3. Comfort - you must be comfortable with yourself and with the other person, physically and emotionally
4. Independence - you must know each other's boundaries, and must be able to stand on one's own without interfereing with the other's plans
5. Respect - you must respect yourself and other person's needs, and must respect their time, their feelings, their posessions, and boundaries.
6. Admiration - you must see and admire yourself and the other person's good qualities, regardless of the imperfections.
Not necessairly in that order, but all these elements must be in place. If something is missing, it's not true love.

True love feels very scary. It makes you terrified that the person you love might get hurt or something.
It also feels painful. Whenever the person you love gets hurt, even a little bit, you can feel their pain even stronger than they can.
It also feels infuriating. Whenever the person you love doesn't give you enough love in return, it makes you feel rejected, and makes you feel like going postal.
It also makes you feel tense. Lots of stress. It makes you worry that the person you love will find something subpar about you. It makes you spend a lot of time trying to be perfect, so they won't find the slightest thing wrong with you.
It also makes you feel happy Lots of joy. The very fact that such a person could even exist makes the world seem like a much better place.
So, overall, true love feels scary, painful, infuriating, stressful, and joyful.

True love feels like you have finally found the person who accepts you as you are and loves you unconditionally. You feel like you are being treated like a princess, you cannot think about anyone else and you become one with this person and feel like it will last forever....
THEN U WAKE THE F#@! UP AND REALIZE THERE IS NO SUCH THING!!!! FIND SOMEONE WITH GOALS/PLANS AND SETTLE.

It is bitter sweet. You are so happy but at the same time you worry because you think ...I know they love me but is it the same way i love them. Being in true love opens you up to get hurt but it is a risk you have to take after all...It is better to love and lost then to never have loved at all!

Perhaps we'll never know, because some people may never experience true love. But I know infatuation is your body tingling when you think of him and you giggling and smiling when you recall the moments you spent together or the things he did.
WE ALL WANT TO FIND TRUE LOVE :D

It feels very comforting...
God has a plan for you. You just have to have faith in Him. He will bring you the right one in His time. And when He does, it's amazing.
