I don't seek a "religion". I only seek God. My only confidence is Him.

1 John 3:20-23
21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
NKJV

Not everyone believes others will be condemed. Religion is deeply routed in culture. It is often more than just a religion - it is a way of life. Often it has a long history. By chosing religion people choose survival for themselves. -it is thus very natural. I wish that people of different religions would merge and start loving each other- that would be paradise on earth!

All religions are from the same source. There can't be more than ONE God.
The One God sent several prophets with the same concept.
Some of the Prophets have been sent with specific message to specifi people,. Others were for the whole mankind.
All prophets came with the same religious concept.
I think that if we are reading the original copies of books that God had sent to us, all people should go to the same single religion.
All prophets had receved the correct books. All prophets left to us the correct messages. Through centuries unsciencere rligion-trders changed in some of these books bcause of ignorance, mistranslation, or to realize some benefits,....etc.
Those who had changed the wordings in any holy book will carry the sins of all its followers till the end day.
Each one of us have to look for the correct book athis utmost. At the end each will be asked as per faith in his heart.

Hello everyone! The simple truth is religion has turned into a very profitable business. And no one wants to lose or lower thier income! SO thats your answer. Id. like to see how many preachers would trade in the new cars ,the diamond rings, the new houses, for just one or two of what the early christians had to go threw!! My personal beliefe is that if JESUS walked in the front door, every other door would be torn off the church by all of the holiest of holys! May GOD bless you!! RONBO

Well, in my experience, it's only Christians that say that. Most others I've talked to believe that at least some of the others will get to heaven. Christians believe that ours is the only way because that is what Jesus said. I AM THE WAY. Not a way, but the way. We didn't say it, He did. Only through Jesus can we be saved.

If we believe in what our Bible tells us, which is a big part of believing our religion, then we have to say that our religion is the only right one, since the others contradict it. It's common sense. You believe what you believe. To not believe would negate your belief. Then what would be the point?

If 2 things contradict each other, they cannot both be right.

Not everyone. God only asks us to believe but he did not name any particular religion. What He recognizes is your character as a rigtheous human being. Living by your own principles in life. Achieving what your heart desires as dictated by your own conscience. Keeping your eyes open and your heart big enough to know what are your rights and the rights of others to exist in harmony with all the living things in nature. To conform does not necessarily mean to do what others do or say what others say but rather to compliment by being a piece of what you are so others may blend to what you are not. No one has the right to condemn anyone.

Actually dagconst, religion is not the answer, God is not impressed by religion, he sees deeper than the mantras and prayers and burnmt offerings of man. God himeslf as revealed in the BIble requires absolute truth and righteousness in the inward parts. his standard is the Ten Commandments and with a breif review of the Commandments we can see we fail miserably at keeping Gods standard of perfect and pure holiness. The BIble says that if we even look with lust, God sees that as adultery, and if we hate someone, God sees that as Murder. he even sees lying lips as an abomination. so if we have lied, stolen, looked with lust ect, we have sinned against him and angered him, and any attempt to try to cover or hide our sin with mantras and prayer or other religious acts angers him even more. he sees our religious acts not as an attempt of rigteousness but as an attempt to bribe his Justice and he makes clear our religous attemots will not be succesful. he says all liars will have thioer part in the lake of fire and thieves, adulterers and blasphemers as well. the good news is that God himself made a way for us to be free from our sin and from the Judgement and condemnation to come. he himself came to earth and lived among man and died on the cross and took upon himself the punishment for our sin. No religion can do anything to help you and I the only thing we can do to be saved is repent (turn from sin) and place our faith and trust in Jesus, the one who came to be the final sacrifce for our sins. The Moment we do, Gopd will forgive you and grant you everlasting life, and he will revela himself to you as the one true God always has. it first requires However, that we Put our pride aside and humble ourselves before Him.
God Bless

Why would anyone belong to a religion if they felt that others were just as good? Jesus indicated that not all those who claimed to be his followers would belong to him. (Matthew 7:21-23) That being said, I am confident that my religion is accepted by God because of our adherence to godly principles and commands. Jesus said that his followers would be known by their self-sacrificing love for one another- Jehovah's Witnesses will not go to war and kill their neighbor/brother. That's simply one example of how we are completely different from other religions who claim to have God's backing. Our love for God and neighbor also moves us to do the preaching work as Jesus commanded.

Christianity is a religion not Presbyterian or Catholic or Lutheran those are places of worship. No one really knows only God. I worship and belong to the Catholic faith. I have gone to other denominations but the basic is we all believe in God, I am just more comfortable belonging to the Catholic faith. All are good.

I kinda think that about my religion becuase it's what I was taught. My religion teaches about the bible and actual things God has done and said and teaches about Jesus. I think Judaism or the religion Jews have is good also. Oh i'm Catholic.
