The only way to stop war is if everyone or at least three fourths of the population gets down on their knees and prays to God for an end to the war. He has the power to do anything.

No. War has existed for as long as civilization has. Thousands of years of culture, and thousands of years of conflict. Even when isolated from other cultures, war has existed in certain civilizations; The Meso and South American cultures fought for centuries before the Europeans arrived. It is in the human psyche to want more than the human has, and to fight. Hence, world peace is a nigh impossible goal, as pessimistic as that sounds.
