I get a partially blocked nose everyday, esp morning, since i was around 12 years old. I'm 20 now.

Which of these are caused by my blocked nose?

- lack of appetite. i never liked to eat. i cant fully smell/taste the food i'm eating.

- i feel so tired everyday. No motivation to do anything productive.

- i cant concentrate and always lose interest/motivation in things. i always get distracted easily.

- i often feel fearful and anxious (especially around people). I think it may be because i breathe too little air at a time and too quick.

Which of these can be the causes of my blocked nose?

- Bad weather. I use to live in Singapore, and the weather there is hot and humid all year round.

- At home i switch on the air-conditioner all day long.

- Little exercise. once every 2/3 weeks.

- I don't eat enough food or the right food.

- Too much dust particles at home.

- Allergic to pillow/sheets

- I have a nose defect since born

Please help me! I want to get rid of it once and 4 all!

The symptoms you describe are very broad. In addition to the suggestion above about consulting an ENT, consider that you may have an allergy or a condition caused by exposure to a toxic substance. Many of the symptoms you describe are familiar to me as someone who has been working in a mold infested building for the last several years and as someone who has worked for environmental health programs. These symptoms may not all be directly related to each other. The key point is to get in touch with a physician who can advise you.

My son had very enlarged adenoids in his nose. They were so big that they said they would have video tapped the operation to remove them. Have you had a sinus cat scan done on your sinuses, thats how they found them in my son. My son was skin and bones until he could smell food. He never smelled a skunk until after the operation. His sinuses were blocked bad. His nose was disfigured due to struggling to breathe through his nose. See a specialist for an ear, nose and throat - ENT. Good luck! My son does not have infections anymore, put on plenty of weight and he can breathe.
